The East Point Local Food Ecosystem Commission is tasked with advising the Mayor and Council on matters pertaining to East Point’s local food system including the production, processing, distribution, marketing, sale, and consumption of local food and agricultural products and taking instruction from the Mayor and Council regarding such issues. The Commission explores and recommends potential policies to the Mayor and Council for the promotion and improvement of the City Agriculture Plan and its outcomes.
